Sumitomo Mitsui Finance & Leasing Company Limited

In October 2007, Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company, Limited (SMFL) was newly established through a merger between SMBC Leasing Company, Limited, a group company of SMFG and Sumisho Lease Co., Ltd, a group company of Sumitomo Corporation. SMFL aims for realizing “the number one leasing company in terms of quality” in Japan that can respond accurately to customer needs which are becoming a more sophisticated, by combining the know-how of the two former companies: expertise of SMBC Leasing (bank affiliated company) in providing financial solutions, and expertise of Sumisho Lease (trading company’s subsidiary) in products and business distribution. SMFL will contribute to society through being ahead of the era and providing higher value-added services to customers.
