SMFG issued new shares through offering on January 27, 2010. As a result, common stock increased 340,000,000 shares and capital and capital reserve increased 459,477 million yen, respectively.
All the rights to purchase shares related to SMFG’s 1st-4th and 9th-12th series, Type 4 preferred stock were exercised. As a result, the number of SMFG’s common stock outstanding increased 36,343,848 shares.
SMFG cancelled all 1st-4th and 9th-12th series, Type 4 preferred stock. As a consequence, the number of Type 4 preferred stock decreased 33,400 shares.
SMFG issued new shares through third-party allotment on February 10, 2010. As a result, common stock increased 20,000,000 shares and capital and capital reserve increased 27,028 million yen, respectively.
