地元団体と連携し、貧困に苦しむ家族のためにギフトの仕分けとラッピングのボランティア活動を行いました。
In collaboration with a local organization, we volunteered to sort and wrap gifts volunteer activity for families experiencing poverty.
2024年12月4日、現地の協会であるThe Teesdale & Hollybush Tenants and Resident Association (TRA)と連携し、恵まれない家庭に向けてギフトの包装ボランティア活動に参加しました。
当日はSMBCグループから24人の従業員が活動に参加し、地域で特別な支援を必要とする人々に対して微力ながら支援をすることができました。
今後もSMBCインターナショナルは貧困・格差解消に向けた取組を継続してまいります。
On December 4, 2024, in collaboration with The East London Business Alliance, we participated in a gift and care package wrapping volunteer activity for families required additional support at The Teesdale & Hollybush Tenants and Resident Association (TRA), a local organization.
A total of 24 employees from the SMBC Group took part in the activity, making a small but meaningful contribution to supporting people in the community experiencing financial difficulties during the festive season.
Moving forward, London colleagues will continue its efforts to address poverty and inequality.
