2025年10月8日、ロンドン東部のWaltham Forest Collegeで開催されたイベント「Student Speedview」にて、模擬面接のボランティアを実施しました。
「Student Speedview」は、Waltham Forest Collegeの学生が実際に企業に務める社会人と1回5分の模擬面接を複数回行うイベントで、面接スキルの向上に加えて、面接を行った企業・業界について学びを得ることを目的としています。
当日は社員約30名が参加し、学生へ履歴書のフィードバック、銀行におけるキャリアパスについて紹介しました。
今後も次世代を担う若者が生まれ育った環境に関わらず就業機会を得られるよう、支援を実施してまいります。
On October 8, 2025, we volunteered as mock interviewers at the “Student Speedview” event held at Waltham Forest College in East London.
“Student Speedview” is an event where Waltham Forest College students take part in multiple five-minute mock interviews with working professionals from real companies.
The purpose is to help students improve their interview skills and gain insights into the companies and industries represented by the interviewers.
On the day, approximately 30 SMBC colleagues participated, providing students with CV feedback, and introducing career pathways in banking.
Going forward, we will continue supporting young people who will shape the next generation so that they can access employment opportunities regardless of the environment of their background.
