2025年12月17日、東ロンドンの福祉施設The Stones End Day Centreにて、ボランティアを実施しました。
当センターは高齢者の方々に対する様々な支援に加えて、記憶に課題のある方々の心身を刺激する活動を週6日行っています。
当日は利用者の方々との会話やゲーム、塗り絵のほか、簡単なダンスプログラムも実施しました。
今後も、社会的孤立の緩和などに資する取組みを継続してまいります。
On 17 December 2025, SMBC volunteers joined a session at The Stone End Day Centre, which provides advice and assistance to its members, and offers activities six days a week for those with memory problems, keeping their minds and bodies stimulated.
Our volunteers joined the elderly members for conversation, games, and coloring activities to support cognitive wellbeing in the morning, and after lunch they took part in a gentle fitness class, including a lively Macarena.
The volunteers’ enthusiasm and care made a meaningful impact, helping reduce social isolation and supporting the center’s staff.
