フィリピン総合病院の小児がん患者の子どもたちに、支援品を詰めたギフトボックスを届けました。
Bringing Comfort and Hope to Pediatric Cancer Patients
マニラ支店は、当地で子どもへの教育・生活支援等を行うC.H.I.L.D FoundationおよびAY Foundationと連携し、フィリピン総合病院の小児がん患者の子どもたちを支援するために「Shoebox Project」に参加しました。
本プロジェクトは、生活必需品や学習用品等を靴箱サイズの箱に詰め、困難な状況にある子どもや家庭へ届ける活動で、今回は社員27名が参加しました。
2025年12月15日には贈呈式にて寄贈を行い、フィリピン総合病院の小児がんを患者の子供たち150名に届けられました。
今後も困難な状況にある子どもたちを支援する取組みを継続してまいります。
A total of 27 volunteers from SMBC Manila joined hands with C.H.I.L.D Foundation and AY Foundation, a subsidiary of RCBC and SMBC's multi-franchise partner, to support 150 pediatric cancer patients at the Philippine General Hospital.
Our volunteers helped purchase and pack shoeboxes filled with essential items, such as pillows and blankets for children undergoing treatment.
The shoeboxes were handed over at a ceremony on 15 December, reflecting our dedication to offer care and hope to young patients and their families.
This effort highlights the compassion and community spirit of our colleagues who gave their time to make a meaningful difference.
