2025年9月1日から12月5日までの約3か月間、米州本部は100以上の慈善団体と連携し、ボランティア活動を実施しました。
本取組みでは期間中に計170件以上のボランティア活動を行い、米州本部社員の56％が参加しました。
例えば、世代をまたぐ貧困の解消に取組む「Good+ Foundation」との活動では、衣類や紙おむつ等の寄付品の仕分け・配布準備や、支援が行き届きにくい保護者とその子どもたちに届けるケアキットの作成を行いました。
今後も米州本部一体となって、地域の慈善団体との連携を通じ、社会的価値創造につながる取組みを継続してまいります。
Over the approximately three-month period from September 1 to December 5, 2025, the SMBC Americas Division conducted volunteer activities in partnership with more than 100 charities.
During this period, we carried out over 170 volunteer events in total, with 56% of employees across the Americas Division participating.
For example, in our activities with Good+ Foundationーan organization working to address multi-generational povertyーwe helped sort and prepare donated items such as clothing and diapers for distribution, and assembled care kits to be delivered to under-resourced parents and their children.
Going forward, the Americas Division will continue to work as one team to sustain initiatives that create social value through collaboration with local charities.
