アジア事業部とPT Bank SMBC Indonesia Tbkは、当地で自然保護等に取組むNGOであるTanah Air Semesta Foundationと連携し、歩数に応じて植樹を行う「BerDaya untuk Bumi」プロジェクトを実施しました。
本プロジェクトは温室効果ガス削減と当地農家支援を目的として、1万歩ごとに1本植樹を行うという取組みであり、グループ会社含めて411名の社員が参加しました。
2025年12月18日には植樹式を実施し、森林樹木およびコーヒーの木あわせて計1,971本を植樹しました。
今後も森林保全や地域経済の支援に資する活動を継続してまいります。

This time, through the BerDaya untuk Bumi initiatives, SMBC Indonesia in collaboration with Tanah Air Semesta Foundation planted 1,971 trees in Lembang Village, Leles District, Garut Regency.
The symbolic tree planting ceremony took place on December 18, 2025, with several members of the SMBC Indonesia board of directors in attendance.
