ホーチミン支店は2026年3月1日、竹林再生の取り組みを推進する現地パートナーであるVietnam Bamboo Foundationおよび地域コミュニティTan Lap Hamletの代表者と連携し、地域の竹林再生プログラムを実施しました。
当日は78名のボランティアとともに、300本の竹を植樹しました。
本取り組みは、生態系の回復、土壌浸食や洪水リスクの低減に加え、地域の文化・経済にとって重要な竹を基盤とする生計手段の強化を通じて、地域コミュニティを支援するものです。
今後も地域の皆さまと連携し、持続可能な社会の実現に資する活動を継続してまいります。
SMBC HCM Branch engaged 78 volunteers to plant 300 bamboo trees in partnership with the Vietnam Bamboo Foundation and Tan Lap Hamlet representatives.
This effort supports the Muong community by restoring local ecosystems, reducin erosion and flood risks and reinforciong bamboo-based livelihoods that are central to that area's culture and economy.
It also promotes community awareness of sustainable land management while strengthening SMBC's engagement with local partners.
