List of Company Data
Main initiatives
1. Environmental Impact Data of SMBC Group Companies
The figures of Scope1,2 are calculated by each group companies, based on GHG protocol and the method of amended energy saving act.
Figures of Scope3 are based on respective group company’s methodology.
Please refer to the link below for environmental performance data and goals of SMBC Group companies.
CO2 emissions for electricity are reported using market based emission factors instead of actual emission factors, starting in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023.
The domestic market based emission factor uses adjusted emission factors for each electric power company.
Figures for electricity (renewable energy) represent CO2 reductions.
CO2 emissions for total water and sewage have been recalculated from the fiscal year ending March 2023, converting the usage amount into monetary value based on the unit price published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and using the emission factor from the Ministry of the Environment's database.
