DE&I promotion system
SMBC Group companies are actively engaging in various internal DE&I initiatives. At the holding company level (SMFG), efforts are concentrated on strengthening diversity promotion across the entire Group.
To support this, The SMFG Diversity and Inclusion Committee was formed. Chaired by the Group CEO and comprising senior managers from SMBC Group companies, the committee is dedicated to accelerating the promotion of diversity throughout SMBC Group, driven by a strong commitment from management.
